SPEAG Fast SAR Solutions Featured at MIC MRA Workshop in Tokyo

The performance of SPEAG’s products for fast measurement of specific absorption rate (SAR) – DASY6 and cSAR3D – were featured in a presentation entitled “Fast SAR – Concept, Implementation and Results of Validation and Verification” delivered by Prof. Niels Kuster at a workshop in Tokyo on mutual recognition agreements (MRAs). SPEAG’s research partner, the IT’IS Foundation, is currently developing the concept and implementation of comprehensive validation of vector array systems to enable these ultrafast systems to be used in the future not only for screening but also for compliance testing.

The Japanese Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) hosted the MIC MRA International Workshop held March 2 – 3, 2016 in the U Thant International Conference Hall of the United Nations University. MRAs are government-to-government agreements that promote international cooperation on sound policies and procedures for assessment of electromagnetic compatibility through increased transparency of technical regulations, laws, and policies. MRAs are intended to facilitate trade and reduce the time and costs associated with bringing new products to the market.
