Multi-antennas on a Car
Model
In this example, a GSM, a bluetooth and a monopole antenna are placed on a car with a driver. Near-field pattern, SAR distribution and S-parameter response are investigated. A detailed CAD model of the car is imported into SEMCAD X and then the antennas are mounted on the different location of the car.
Simulation
The simulation project consists of antennas which contains electrically thin/non-conformal parts and have a significant role in the simulation, and a car which becomes electrically large at high frequencies. SEMCAD X easily
handles the project and efficiently solves in reasonable time with the help of the hardware acceleration.
Results
SEMCAD X offers easy extraction of the parameters like SAR distribution, E- and H-field distributions,. Furthermore, broadband simulations shows return loss and isolation performance of these antennas in real usage conditions, i.e., on a car and with human interaction.
