SEMCAD X distinguishes dielectric solids, dispersive materials, thin resistive sheets, and perfect electric and magnetic conductors. SEMCAD X can treat any combination of materials, including diferent dispersive materials, as well as a generic dispersive formulation.

SEMCAD X Hardware Acceleration supports simulations with any combination of materials, including dispersive and lossy metals.
