Schmid & Partner Engineering AG (SPEAG) is the leading developer and manufacturer of the most reliable, efficient, user-friendly and advanced experimental (DASY, iSAR, SAR/OTA Phantoms) and numerical tools (SEMCAD X) for the electromagnetic near- and far-fields from DC to light.

SPEAG developed a new state-of-the-art solver based on the Mode Matching Technique for the simulation of passive waveguide structures within their simulation suite. The new solver has been integrated into the existing SEMCAD X framework to provide the user with a commonly elaborated simulation environment.

Together with the EM and Thermal solvers based on the FDTD techniques, SEMCAD X Microwave can be successfully applied to a wide variety of electromagnetic problems ranging from microwave devices, EMC, optics, to bio-medical applications.
